Children

Our conference in Toronto began with a surprise performance of a children's choir surrounding the classroom.

We were reminded throughout the meeting of the reality of the children we were talking about through the art in the front of the classroom, and by the many pieces of street art surrounding the hotel.

On Saturday October 26 Wendy turned 50 years old! ICIM helped her celebrate and enjoy her love of the pageantry arts at a party open to all at the Church of the Holy Trinity, a miniature Gothic cathedral across the courtyard from our hotel. The party included gypsy jazz, a harpist, a magician, acrobats, a gluten-free birthday cake, and guests were asked to join in the mysterious atmosphere with some pageantry of their own, with flower crowns and painted faces. Children were dancing and playing in the church, having a wonderful time.
